When is the bowl done?

    Ok so I've been smoking daily for a few months now(bowl) and here is my question.
    When is it done? When is it time 2 empty it and load a new one? is it when the green is gone? when it starts to burn how it does at the end where the whole bowl burns really deeply (all of it is burning all the way through, looks very orange), or when it shoots in2 the bowl and down your throat (which is what i normally do).

    Pretty much when theres no embers is what i go by.. When nothing lights i dump it.

    Its normally done when the smoke coming out is thin, and when it starts to taste bad. you can always turn the bowl to see if its still worth hitting, but if its needs to be questioned this much it's normally cashed.

    When it tastes awful, when hardly any smoke forms, or simply when it pulls through. If you have a deep bowl and still sometimes get that ash taste on top, just use the end of your lighter or get a tamp to push everything down and hit it one more time.

    only if its all whiteish ash is it time to empty it. if it looks like ash but its all black theres still some smokeable shit left. wait till its all white

    right lol if the op is pulling shit into his throat it is definently CASHED.. if u light it and nothing turns red then stir it and try it but if its grey/white dont keep hittin hope that helps man

    when all thats left in the bowl is ash. if something lights and creates smoke the bowl is still going.

    The taste is quite recognizable of when it's done. I guess the only way to describe it for me would be when it tastes like ass. But all it is is when there's nothing left to burn and there's pure ash left. Sometimes though, you'd be shocked when you flip it over and there's still actual green left on the bottom. As this topic proved, there's many different takes on this, as with many things related to smoking.

    When you think it's done, empty it in a cup and stir it around. Might be some green left :D

    Everyone is different. I just roast until someone gets assed. Sure, it tastes bad, but a little water will wash it away and you know you aren't wasting any weed.

    Usually when it won't light anymore. Since I'm a light weight, I'll have a little bit left after 3 or 4 hits, so I'll finish it, or save it for later.

    Green is green after all :)

    I usually light up, aftehe black turns to white I lightly blow into the bowl on the mouthpiece and the white ash will fly out, then I got more black/green to smoke. I will continue to do this until I am blasted or there is nothing left in the bowl.

    Well everyone's saying when it dont light. I do when it don't light as well, but also when it just looks like really cruddy ash. You can just tell, it don't like good no more hahaha
