how long should i wait for the seed to sprout before i put my sprout into hydroton? do i put it at the bottom of the pile, so its next to the net pot? or do i put it near the top? some noob questions but i appreciate the answers Time to hit this dank bowl... HAPPY HALLOWEEN~!
no, the hydro store i was at surprisingly was all out of rockwool... Is there anything i can do to get around this?
You need a small "plug" to hold the seedling while it gets established in the media. Check and see if the Hydro Store has any kind of neutral media squares about 2" by 2" These can be back-filled with hydroton or perlite to fill the net-pot Alternately - get a Sure-to-grow insert to fit your net-pot and slit it up the side and place the seedling in the middle of that.
