When is it too late to top?

    I have a bean pole over 3' high that started budding. Is it too late to top?

    short answer ...YES...tie it down down or u will lose alot of bud by topping now

    Agreed. The more general answer is top while still in veg so the plant has time to make more top branches.

    yea i usauly give atleast a month of veg time after i top
