When is it too late to spray plants in flower?

  1. Hey guys, so I still have spider mites and I triggered my plants 2 weeks ago. They are only just starting to show signs of flowering.

Is it too late to spray down all the plants with a diluted pesticide? Or is it only too late when the plants have buds?

    Thanks!

  2. I wouldnt use pesticide, im pretty sure my brother in law usee 50/50 rubbing alcohol and water.

  3. The advice that Cervantes gives is to lower your temperatures to 16C whilst you deal with the problem, spider mites hate low temps! Spray your foliage with a jet of cold water and it will knock a lot of them off the plant. The increase in humidity also slows their reproduction, giving you a chance to get rid of them before it's too late. IIRC he mentions neem oil as an effective product to rid your plants of mites. He also mentions that Pyrethrum is THE best miticide but I don't know what that is nevermind where to buy it.

Good luck, I hope you manage to wipe them out.

  4. Its not too late. Spray with a neem oil mix or pyrethrum. :) good luck.

    Edit: typo

  5. ^.

Spray on neem oil and you should be good to go.
