Are pests more likely to appear in soil grows vs hydro grows in similar environments/situations? I would guess that soil might be more attractive to pests because certain kinds live in soil, but i'm not sure if hydroton or other grow mediums tend to be a good enough substitute for those pests...
I guess it would help for soil born pests. But it won't do shit against spider mites. I prefer soil pver hydro. Less harsh smoke and better taste IMO
