When does weed become less harsh?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by EAPaaron19, Sep 17, 2020.

  1. I harvested Northern Lights 7 days ago and now beginning the curing process. The weed is absolutely bomb. Currently when I smoke it now uncured, I feel a heavy feeling in my lungs afterwards that lasts for a while after I smoke it. Does curing it a few weeks make the heavy feeling in the lungs not happen anymore?

  2. It may, I grow NL and know what your talking about, yes it needs to cure longer. I found to not even try it now until at least a month in jars.

  3. 30 days is good. 60 days is even better. I honestly don't find it gets any better past that and that might be my local conditions. Drying stage is always a bitch here.

  4. I've never had any pot, from my grows or purchased, that ever tasted smooth. Certainly nothing like a fine Cuban cigar.

If you have stock on hand, curing for 30 days would be best. Consider Boveda packs.

  5. I'm at about 6 weeks in jars and like everyone else said, the longer it goes the better it tastes.
