So I heard that a stress causes more males. I plan on transplanting several plants outdoors, but would like to know how long should I wait until the added stress of the ordeal doesn't affect their sex outcome? And I don't have enough room indoors to complete the veg.
Plants can be shocked at any point in there lives. Plant outside a few weeks after last chance of frost !
Then you heard wrong. Stress can cause hermies but not gender change. Be sure to harden off your plants as you move them from indoor to outdoor.
After May 24 weekend (damn I love beer) is a good time to pop your girls outside. I live in Ontario btw.
