I have always harvested when the trichomes are about 50/50 milky/amber. This is because I have usually preferred the mix of body buzz with the head high. But lately I have been testing buds that have around 50/50 clear/milky trichomes, and have discovered that I really enjoy the soaring heady stone. I am considering harvesting whole plants with this ratio. What do you prefer, and why?
Doesn't the head stone or body stone depend on Indica and Sativa strains? Then the trichome ripeness only affects it to a certain extent? Like you won't get a head stone from a straight indica if you harvest at all milky trichomes.
