When Do the Nicotine Withdrawals Hit?

  1. Been a pack a day smoker for the last 2 years. It's been about 30 hours now since my last cigarette and I feel completely find. No cravings, no withdrawals.

Thought it would be a lot worse than this.

  2. It can be.

Hit me up tomorrow and tell me how you feel.

  3. You might be one of the lucky ones. I was also able to just stop smoking without any issues or cravings or any of the things people normally describe.

  4. I too was going to quit until I started using my E-Cig. There's no reason to quit now, I'm still vapin nicotine without smoking cigarettes. If you still dig nicotine, you should check out the e-cigs. You can even get the 0 nicotine "smoke juice" to help with cravings.

  5. Dude, a pack a day? Thats about $310 a month, $3720 a year.

Anyway, you may be hit hard after 2 to 3 days, and it will subside after that.

    Good luck.

  6. Lol they hit me in like 7 hours back when i was smoking. So glad i quit now that they are 8 dollars a pack here in boston. :hello:

  7. Where do you live? I'm in Ma. and we have some of the highest price cigarettes in the entire country, but it's still only about $185 a month.

Anyways guys, I managed to get myself a pack. I should have stated that I had no interest in quitting smoking. I just had some unexpected bills this week and ended up completely broke until my paycheck next week. I was planning on smoking again right away next week.

I managed to scrounge up enough change for another pack though.

Not sure what I'm going to do after this one since I don't get paid until Wednesday, probably just limit myself to a few smokes a day.

  8. I never have felt withdrawals from smoking, but I only do it casually. I just smoke when other people around me are smoking which is like a few times a week at the most.

  9. Damn i'm glad I dont smoke ciggies, I've smoked them before, and I dont get the appeal. I felt absolutely nothing when I smoked a cig. I even tried smoking like 3 of em, felt absolutely nothing.

Its not like I expected it to hit me like a joint or anything, but I expected to feel something, ya know?:smoke:

  10. Depends for me, after 2 hours I definitely get that feeling that I need a cigarette, but I can resist the temptation easily until the 24 hour mark where I REALLY start jonesing hard.

  11. That's odd man. Back when I first started smoking a cigarette would get me pretty light headed.

These days though it's true that I don't really feel very different from a cigarette, just satisfied.

It's pretty tough to explain what's so amazing about a cigarette to a non-smoker.
