  1. i dont want to be TOO eager but ive been hearing a lot of ppl here saying they switch to flower after only 3 weeks. ive only got a 4 ft tall grow area so i dont want them to get too big. i go the clones almost 4 weeks ago, how much taller should i expect them to get during flowering?

any advice would b greatly appreciated.

  2. They may double or even triple in height once flowering is initiated.

  3. I have an 8 foot tall space and I vegged for 2 months. My ladies were a lovely 4 feet tall.

Then I went to flower and began the craziest few months of LST/SCRoG I've put up with. The final height of the plants without being tied down was 10 feet from root collar to kola tip.

I now start flowering at 1.5-2" tall and wind up with 5 to 6 foot tall ladies.

If you only have 4 feet, start flowering at 12 to 19 inches tall.

  4. What kind of lighting and about how tall are your plants? I wouldnt flower until they are at least (tell me if Im wrong) 10 inches tall but I wait until mine are taller. You might want to wait a couple weeks

  5. they r 12" so i switched to 12/12. i dont want them to get too bug, my grow space is only 4' tall

  6. i just made this mistake,i vegged my plants for a month and i have a cabinent grow so i have lower space.im about 2.5-3weeks into flowering and i had to bend the plants over using string so they would quit growin up,its workin well now but i have learned my lesson lol!!! i didnt expect em to shoot out quite like they did lol they have atleast doubled in size and still goin

  7. use some type of training...oh wait...nvm

  8. my plants were about 1.5 ft they been on 12/12 for 13 days and they already grown about a foot

  9. I read somewhere that if you switch to flowering too early before any preflowers appear or before the gender can be confirmed that your risk will be high for producing hermies.
    Anyone else know about this?

  10. Flower whenever you want, just know that the longer you veg the more budsites you will have developed for buds later in flowering. Going to flower early on won't cause hermies, but it might take longer for the plants to actually show sex and begin to flower.

Definitely use training -- I use LST, veg for 4-5 weeks in 5 gal buckets, and still end up with plants less than 18" height from soil to top with many, many tops.
