  1. Hey guys i've always grown from cuttings but i've imported some fresh genetics sprouts have 4 leaves with the next set just start to poke through just wondering how early you start the feeding i am growing in coco coir if that makes a differnece ,
, obviously light nutes to begin.

  2. When they are ready is the short answer.

I wouldn't feed until they are 3-5 nodes, or if they start looking pale.

  3. I’ve started 4 seeds in sets of 2 about 3 weeks or so apart. First time went about 2w and bottom leaves yellowed. Did a week this time.

  4. This method may work for you but I prefer feeding 1/4 strength nutes daily to run off from the day it sprouts. The only exception would be a seedling in a very large container.

  5. I've never needed to feed before 3 nodes, which is usually around 8 days. Though I suppose if growing in straight coco, you need to "build" your nutrient base. I transplant to soil.

  6. I grow in straight coco/perlite.

  7. How do you like it? Ever tried soil?

  8. I tried soil about 30 years ago. I prefer drain to waste hydroponics to soil because I think you have more control over the nutrients and potential problems can be solved immediately. I have moved on from coco and I now do hempy buckets - same fast growth, less feeding, and no fungus gnats. Unless I get really bored, I think I'll stick to hempys.

Sorry about that. I had no message box for some reason. Fixed.

I have a friend that grows coco/drip. My issue isn't medium or nutrient related, but power related. I live in the woods and the power goes out quite frequently (wood gassifier in the spring will fix that). I'm not always around for a steady watering regimen when they get bigger.

I lost half a hydro grow to it a few years back. Anyhow, glad you like it.
