When do cotyledon wither?

    I thought true leaves were the cotyledon so when I saw my plants little baby leaves yellow today I was very concerned... she is a month and 9 days old... when do they usually wither off??? Everything fine I geuss?? I'm wondering if they ever stay on the entire time?!?

    The cotyledons are the baby leaves. Consider them as a lunch box for the plants early stages. True leaves are the serrated leaves (leaves that look like saw blades). The cotyledons will usually fall off by the end of the first month.

    What slinky said except I have seen the cotyledon leafs stay on for an entire grow.

    With the right training, you can coax a bud out of them.
