Hey Clark. I'm just north of you and the general rule is around mothers day. Check local planting charts for the average first and last frost. Not sure what strain you are growing, but I would try to get something that finishes in late september to middle of October at the latest.
Read all the stickies in the outdoor grow section--here and at the other forums. Pay attention to guys that have multiple successful grows. Read everything you can get your hands on. Start your own thread detailing your plans for your grow. If you're fucking up someone will let you know.
