when can i get seeds from a male plant?

  1. i started flowering my plants a few weeks ago and found 1 male plant (out of 5 so not bad) well i moved the male outside to keep it from the females. I can see the lil "seed sacs" but since i moved the plant to the outside, i kinda put it back in the veg stage(right? because summer = longer light). well the sacs are still there.....so i need to know how do i go about getting seeds from the male?

-how long do i have to wait for seeds?
    - is it too late to get seeds since i changed light cycle?
-whats the process of removing seeds?

  2. Seeds come from the female plant dude. Males just provide the pollen to pollinate the females to start the seed creation. Then the female flowers with seeds in it. Just to let you know.

  3. To clarify myself im not sure if i misunderstood your statement. Peace man.

  4. those arent seed sacks, those balls burst open and a flower comes out

  5. The male has pollen sacs, they burst open and release pollen. That fertilises any female pistils it falls on to produce seeds. But if you want sin semilla bud you will kill any males.

  6. The man wants some seeds to continue growing guys, damn... you all treat males like its the plague, im sure you smoked some damn good shit in your day that had seeds in it.

Anyways dude, let me help... Keep the male plant far away from your females... to get seeds when the male flowers collect some of the yellow bannana looking things in a ziploc bag and store it in refriderator....

Once your females start to bud take a small artists brush and plung it into your pollen ziploc bag and brush a few of the pistils at the lower buds which will not be really huge anyways.

For each 2 pistils you brush you will get one seed. Only the pistils you pollenate will give a seed the rest of the tree will be seedless.

If the male is different strain than the female then your crossbreeding which is always cool especially if its something not done yet between 2 strains then give it your own name ;)

    Hope to have helped.

  7. Or shake the male into a plastic bag. Shake the bag around ONE branch of a female, hold it there for a day with a rubber band. You will get loads of seeds on just that one branch.
