2003–2004 Mercury Marauder, 302 hp (225 kW) and 318 lb·ft (431 N·m) Then Ill strap a huffer to it... With the right heads, supercharged it makes 506 hp (377 kW) and 317 lb·ft (430 N·m) Theres a few more bolt-ons that should get me well into the 550 range.. Or maybe Ill take that engine set-up and drop it in a nice Townie.... Swap out the tires and take it through Moab... OK Im done
off-road town car would be epic! I'd love a town car as a cruiser if I was ever rich enough to be driven places...The German luxury cars are faster but town cars have presence like nobody's business.
Can someone tell me where I can learn about cars. I have a slow ass 99' mercury mistique. All I want it to do is go faster. Plz help
2015 m6, turbocharged, computer, and suspension (adjustable coils). I'd want it to be as factory smooth and silent as possible, until it reaches near red line muahahaha
yah man, i wouldnt go through that either. Why not just stick to whats known to be awesome for boost, 1j 2j rb sr. Those are pretty available and reliable-when-boosted engines that have also had plenty of other people do the swaps. a 2jz is prob cheaper than buying a salvage too. edit:: of course you cant mention any swap without bringing up the LS-series
Speaking of LS swaps.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXDMl00c8RU&list=PL7EFF0B314C553F41 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jcgi1qwN8M
One of those ridiculously over powered e30's. That's all you really ever need . ______________________________ this is my signature. Right here.
Sunday mornings. Spike TV Youtube Turning wrenches Auto Forums (Like this one) Factory Service Manuals (Can sometimes be found for free, or close to it.) Parts magazines are free. So are the websites. Dude - Its all out there. Yea theres stuff you'll only learn by busting knuckles, and setting yourself on fire, but its all worth it in the end to pay someone else to do it for you
My absolute dream build and is realistic hands down would be. A Agent 47 Harbringer (67-69 fastback mustang) Or the Agent 47 SN-95 Cobra build. If you love ford and don't know who agent 47 is hell if you love domestics go check out the American Iron Series in racing. Then you'll see why i get a hard on each time i hear an Agent 47 modular ride let lose on a few twisties and straight aways.
I have a 1976 Ford Maverick that I got as my very first car about 13 years ago. I have held on to it, and have always had plans to restore it and throw in a bigger power plant. Sometime soon I plan on making it happen.
05 Acura RSX S .. white black or Subaru blue Fully built K20A2 engine w/ big Garrett or Precision turbo All fixings; full 2.5" exhaust, front mount, coils, big brakes etc etc. just waiting for the perfect rsx to come on the market to buy and get started.
It'd probably have to be some kind of 6/700bhp R32/34 GTR, it's a difficult choice which car I'd pick though. Not a dream but a very realistic one is a RenaultSport Clio 200 with the Megane 250 Turbo engine dropped in and tuned to like 350bhp. Would go like stink.
