The first picture was the plant in question several days ago. It has weird discoloration. The second picture, the plant in question is the one further away. I have five plants all planted on the same day, all being fed the same, all using the same soil/perlite/coco mix. The only plant showing this weirdness is this one. I'll get a newer picture of it alone after I post this initial post. There are no signs of bugs, I have looked it over thoroughly. Once again I want to restate, out of all five plants, this is the only one that looks weird like this, I'm thinking it may be sick and needs to be chopped down but I would rather get some opinions before I destroy a month of growth.
Here is a current close up of the sick plant, as well as a healthy plant right next to it. There are some circular patterns on them from watering, I'm not worried about that part, I'm worried about the weird yellowing patterns.
That light patchy discoloration is normal mine did the same, they outgrow it after awhile! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J327A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
You think so? This is my second grow, have 8 plants that I just harvested within the last week and I haven't seen that. I think that's the fourth one of that strain from the same bank, all ordered at the same time. I'm pretty worried that it's TMV, but I would have thought if it was TMV it would have infected the other plants by now.
I mean, TMV creates mottled leaves, and very slow growth, I don't see any mottling, and it's growing just as fast as the healthy one right next to it, so I'm not as worried as I was a week or so ago.
This is a harmless leaf mutation called leaf variegation. Fairly common. I don't know where all this spooky talk about Mosiac virus came from - you can only confirm with a lab test, and I haven't heard any cannabis documented to have it. Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk
Haha, it's kind of looking up your stomach pains on WebMD. You have some cramps, according to WebMD it makes you think you're dying. Same concept with Googling a plant problem, that's where it came from haha. Thanks for the reassurance, I feel quite better now.
Kinda looks like mite damage mate. Checked the underside for beasties? If nothings there then check the ph. Thats usually the cause of most wierd behaviour. Also, i see drops of water on the leaves. Shouldnt get em wet when the lights are on man. Dangerous tactics that lol. Can fry the leaves almost instantly if you get unlucky. (Edit) Just double checked and i dont think it is mites. Check the ph, if thats ok its probably just a case of riding it out. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Like I said in the original post, I did check for bugs very thoroughly, since at first I assumed that's got to be what it was. PH going in is about a 6.5 and it's coming out around 6.4 I try not to let water sit on the leaves, but it happens.
