Whats wrong with the government and how do we fix it?

  1. Title says it all. I want actual opinions tho and not stuff like 'Obama' or 'congress' or somthin. If you want government to change fine but I want to know why your option is better than the current

  2. Cut problem off at source.. competing currencies, end the federal reserve over time. The federal reserve is an enabler and exasperates each of our problems.

  3. Ideally, get rid of it ASAP.

Realistically, phase it out over time. Immediately, cut the entire legislative branch, all government social services, all cabinet departments, extreme reduction in size of military. Over time, phase out executive and judicial branches.

  4. Stop giving money to those who don't deserve it.

  5. 1)End the welfare and police state
    2)Crush the military industrial complex
    3)Return to the gold standard
4)Audit and end the Federal Reserve
    5)Eliminate regulations
    6)Stop subsidizing everything
7)Allow the free market to prosper.

  7. Politicians.

    Direct Democracy/Lawlessness

  8. As a more socialists myself I believe the free market is exactly what drives rich to become to powerful and turn in an oligarchy or almost what we have today.. And to idontsmokeblunt, what would you like to replace that with? Anarchy?

  9. Its a police state that's corrupt as fuck. Corporations are people and money is speech. The schools make kids dumber.

  10. The rich aren't the problem its the government.

No matter what government it is the rich have more money, which makes them have more power, which eventually turns into them running the country in some kind of government. It's human nature

  12. So letting your government decide how the wealth should be shared is better?

  13. People get rich--> they gain power, create/force a government or dictatorship--> they tell you how the wealth is shared ie. tax breaks for rich and corporations

  14. Except for the fact that we've never had a truly free market. What we have now is what you would call corporatism... Socialists are a funny bunch.

What countries have a free market? Just curious.

And would businesses have any regulations at all? Curious about a true free market

  16. Yes indeed. No State, no legalized coercion.

  17. I believe the rich will always rise to the top. An anarchy would not last very long IMO

  18. Hong Kong has the "freest" economy, but that doesn't mean it's a true free market. Early Iceland, and the not so Wild West are two good examples of formerly truly free markets.

  19. 'The rich' is a logical fallacy, due to it being a generalization, and therefore isn't proper to use in a debate, no matter how casual.

We are individuals, and we all have the power of choice.

How is it a logical fallacy? How is it a generalization? Could I say the top 1 or 2 percent? That's not generalizing
