Whats wrong with my new plants

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Rdbomb, Sep 8, 2021.

  1. So this is my second round growing cannabis. My first round went great and I'm using the same methods so I don't know whats wrong. I'm watering once a day about a liter per plant. I added clowning solution early on I don't know if that could have caused this. The leaves are yellow especially towards the ends. They don't look especially droopy. I've attached pictures of the plant. Any advice will be much appreciated. Let me know if any more information is needed to identify what's wrong.

    Looks like magnesium deficiency.
What medium are you in coco or soil? If in coco I'd stay with calmag issue if soil could be a few things causing that. With more questions

  4. Definitely coco... And yes cal/mag of course.. and I'm sure is starting a bunch of other deficiencies..

OP, start with soil.. it will be way easier to learn.

  5. Yeah it's in potting soil I got at lowes. I planted them in 5 gallon pots. I put a 2 inch layer of manure on the bottom before adding the potting soil. I then placed them in my tent with the lights. I'll post more pictures when I get off work to show what I mean.

  6. No more pics needed. 1st soil needs aeration and quite a bit. That could be causing the issue the soil's too compact. Check the ph of your soil (slurry test) as that could be the issue. You could be under watering, or slightly over watering that plants big enough it shouldnt be getting water every day. Either you're not watering enough or the pots not dry enough, but every day is either too much or not enough water. Or possibly the soil you bought doesn't contain much nutrients. If soil came amended it has to be moist to keep the rhizosphere active and thriving. So underwatering can be detrimental in organic soil.

  7. Only pic I have of soil that's what it should look like, most people add more than I do regardless it needs aeration in soil

  8. Your plants too small and young to have depleted that much nutrient I would place blame on the soil. If you're phing water soil ph may be low in pre-amended soil mixed with manure. Always make sure the first ingredient on soil is aged forest material or something like that not peat or whatever else they may use. The first ingredient is what the soil contains the most of.
