So I'm a senior in high school, and I drive to school everday. I have my buddy A who lives in an apartment complex who I give rides to school everyday because he smokes me out and gives me gas money for it. Then I have my buddy B who lives in the same complex but the complex has 2 areas, seperated by a main road, and he lives on the other side. So back to the point, I was giving my buddy B a ride with A, but one day he acted up saying how A is my butt buddy because I pick him up first and sometimes I won't take him and I'll take A, because like I said He smokes me out for rides. Then he started talking shit about my truck, so I told him to Fuck off and find a ride home because he was being a bitch. So he can't find a ride, misses the bus ON PURPOSE, so I say Fuck it and give him a ride home, now he won't stop asking me to pick em up, saying I OWE him the rides. The Fuck is his issue ?
You opened the door for him to walk all over you by giving him a ride. If anyone I'm carpooling can't compensate for the ride, they are not getting into my vehicle. Tell him to either smoke you out or pay you gas money. If he can't handle that then he's not worth dealing with. It doesn't make much sense to drive to a different building to pick him up first when your other friend lives in the same building as you. If he can't understand that then honestly he probably has very little common sense. Sounds like his issue is that he's not used to doing shit himself.
Well usually (not the case here) I give friends rides just because I like to hang out with them or because they are just good friends who do the same for me. Most of the time they give me rides because they have no issues paying for their gas so by the end of the week ill buy us a case of beer and well just hang like bros and NOT worry if we owe each other something or are using each other. Oh yeh and this was a person I met in like February, just say " i don't owe you a ride and you need to quit acting like i do" just be very stern. But on the real is it a big deal? I mean you live in the same general area and probably use at most like 4$ worth or gas on him.
If he lives across the streer from his friend, he spends almost no money on him. But Im with OP, he needs to get his shit together, its not your job

Just man up my friend I sure wouldn't of drive him after he talked shit about my ride.. Come on now.

That guy sounds like hes very very hostile.... but yeah OP, just ignore him from now on, until he actually realizes...
I don't live near them. They live near eachother I live about a mile away. So its out of my way regardless. Sorry I didn't clarify.
If someone said I owed them a ride I'd probably laugh and tell em to suck me off hahaha. Man not having a go at you but you can't let yourself be this guys bitch. The second you do what he says you are showing him he can push you around. Moral of the story your car, you ain't owe him shit and he should be grateful.
this. and i had a friend who didnt have a car thru out all of high school. EVERYDAY he would ask people for a ride. Idk how someone can do that everyday and not feel annoying. Oh yea, he could have easily taken the bus as well. Just tell him you gotta be somewhere or you got a job and you have to be there straight after school? idk or just say listen dude, im being nice enough to give you a ride, so either stfu and be greatful or find a different ride.
A mile is like .50 cents worth of gas, but agreed it is a little bit childish the way he says you owe him. Just tell him he needs to chill he won't always have a ride from you.
