Whats wrong with light green leaves?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by seneliukas, Nov 29, 2021.

  1. Hi all,

I grow double kush cake (in package it was auto, but seems seeds have been switched and apparently it is photo plant), the seed was put to soil on begining of september and only now the plant starts to flower. I have done some supercropping, been feeding with biobizz and schultz nutes. I noticed that top leaves are getting very light/pale green. Previously plant had really lush dark green leaves, but now its getting very pale. Maybe someone could recommend how to deal with it? In theory such leaves show lack of nitrogent, but at this stage i doubt that its good idea to give nitrogen to the plan.
Your opinions are much appreciated IMG_20211129_130527.jpg IMG_20211129_130531.jpg

  2. She's growing fast and hungry right now... yellowing towards the top is either a "mobile nutrient" deficiency or early sign of light stress...

  3. So what you would suggest at this stage? Increase Nitrogen or only bloom nutes? Not sure if it is light stress, my mars hydro ts1000 is hanging at the top of the tent, no more room to increase it. I could adjust the intensity to like 80%

  5. You won't see any Greening up of existing fan growth but it should keep things from getting worse looking.
As Flower deepens if she can't find what she needs from her roots she will start to steal Elements from the oldest fan leaves to keep building buds. Called Translocation.
End of Life Fade is common enough with Cannabis.
I've seen some strains do it even with the best soils and feeds. Seems like it's hard wired in some strains to rob Elements from the fans even when she's got plenty of food on hand.
