  1. Hello all , as you may notice from my earlier posted pics im reaching the end of of my harvest, iM running 12/12 and i believe i read in a Cannbis Culture that you can drop you light cycle down to like 2 hours a week to optimize bud production, being so that the Sugars for the Buds are created during the dark hours and only require minium sunlight for photocythiese . Does this sound Accurate>?

  2. 2 hours a week doesn't sound too healthy for the plant..... imagine yourself just drinking water for a week, and you're only allowed to eat solid foods for just one day..... it's kinda like that

light is a source of energy for the plant.... without it the bud production, or anything for that matter would not exist... it'll only stress the plant out causing you to have bad buds..... i even think that the plant will start to consume itself just to have enough energy to live... 2 hours a week? thats sounds ludicrous

  3. mmm don't know about that one, however you can give the plant about 36-48 hours of complete darkness at the end of the flowering period, this allows the plant to realise it's in the final stages of flowering, and swell the resin sacks a little more............apparently..........i've yet to try this method..........Peace out..........Sid

  4. Right On Maybe what Sid said is what i read . What can I say things get crossed up sometimes in my head<LOL> thanks for the replies , Im going to to drop the light down a few hours . Im going to try 10 on 14 off for while . Cause i really dont need much more vegative growth out of them . seeing what happens . Ill keep yall informed what works.>>.Peace

  5. ive tried the 48 hrs of darkness before the cut and was amazed by the end results, i would give it a whorl

  6. thanks for the input... i think im gonna do that in a couple of weeks when i harvest...
