Nice and sunny today. My housemate and I went for a LONG walk up a nearby mountain where we could see nearly the entire city; it was a very nice view!
Had a massive storm last night. There was almost no interval between the flash and bang. So close I could see the lightning was coloured blue and orange. We called out the Guardia Civil to check on a night watchman nearby who only had a tarp as protection. They came in under 5 minutes, I was impressed.
Rainy. The winter storm pattern is setting in and it will be raining until Wednesday. From here on, we will have a few days of sun, followed by a few days to a week of rain or snow, over and over. Can't come too soon- the mountain was the barest that I've ever seen it this summer. It looked really sad! But there may be a couple inches of snow dropped on it tonight! Daytime temps are in the 50s with lows in the 40s. Granny
Goodness, where are you with that much snow? I'm glad you're loving it! Here it's 45 F and raining. I'm in Norfolk, VA.
