Whats the need for ventilation

  1. I'm alittle bit confused about the need for Ventilation. theres no mention of it in a book a bought (Marijuana growers guide).

I have fan I could use , but what should I do with it should I leave it on all the time while growing or do I really need a fan on at all?

  2. plants need to breathe like us, so they need circulation

  3. So should I keep the fan pointed at the plant all the time or should I have it rotate around the plant/room?

  4. It's said that a fan blowing on the plant makes it grow stronger so that later on it will be able to stand up to the weight of its buds. That's different from ventilation.

Ventilation is important to keep temperature and humidity down in the grow area. Temperature is an issue because grow lights produce heat that needs to go somewhere if it's not to damage your plants, and lower humidity helps create higher quality more potent product.

What you personally need depends on your grow set-up.
