I'm making this thread because I was thinking about a huge win I had a few years ago. Plus, I'm going to AC in a few days so I hope to do a repeat of that crazy night. Here's my best story: I had $140 to my name, and I owed my wife's friend $300. Plus bills. I was fucked, so I just said "Fuck it - I'm going to Atlantic City". I went by myself. It's a 2 hour drive for me, and on the way I had a panic attack. - That's how nervous I was! Anyway, the game I am most comfortable with is Roulette. I went to The Resorts casino and went to a Roulette table. To make a long story short, I turned that $140 into $2,020 - in about 3 hours. I steered clear of the free drinks but drank mad Red Bulls. It was incredible. There were a bunch of people around me like you see in the movies all cheering me on. The casino workers that were behind the table were just glaring at me. I had these 2 Chinese-American kids (early 20's) flanking me on both sides (they were boys/friends). I had to have given each of them like $100 in chips. Once I made it about $1500, they were like "Dude, you need to leave now, while you still have money!!". I was like "Yeah, just a little more!!!". So when I got to my $2,220, they were like "GO!! NOW!". Hehe, I obliged, but on the way out I dropped $200 on a single bet on a table and lost it. When I went to cash out, it was that 2020 number. It was surreal as hell. But damn! I hope I can do that again! I'm going with the same amount of money!!! Next post will explain my technique. But fuck yeah!!!!!
I would play inside and outside. Also, I would do compound bets - as I call them: Put like $15 on RED, $15 on EVEN, maybe $15 on the 2ND 12, and then I would litter the inside with $1 chips at the most random places. Once I accrued a few hundred bucks, I would keep doing what I was doing, but throw some $5 chips on the inside numbers - but not on a single number. I would put $5's in between numbers or on 4 corners (4 numbers). A few times, however, I would throw a $5 or even a $10 chip on a single number. I got direct hits like 4 or 5 times! The payout is 36 to 1!!! Oh man. I'm getting a boner just thinking about this shit! So yeah, let me hear some stories from you guys! I'm sure a lot of you have trumped me without a doubt!!!
My grandpa always goes to the casino, he's pretty fucking rich too so he's considered a "high roller." I went with him once and got a cool $550 out of the $100 I went in with. I've never been back to one.
I won about $80,000 in Vegas during my friend's bachelor party. I used it to pay said friend's ransom, but I got a black guy instead. But then we found him and he won $80,000 too.
$1400 on a quarter slot machine. I probably spent around $50 to win that. I've won a lot more horse racing though, including a $4,300 trifecta.
I went into a local casino (just a card room) and won $18,500 on Spanish 21 (black jack). The difference in spanish 21 is the side bets. They remove all the 10's from the decks (6 decks in this instance) so it is more likely for the dealer to hit 21, BUT when u bet on the side if one of your 2 starting cards matches the dealers up card u get 4 to 1 on a regular match or 9 to 1 on a suited match (the rules vary but these where the odds I played). I started out with 3 gs of my own money. I bought in for 1 g lost it, bought in for another g lost it, then came the magic buy in. Bought in for another G. At this point I was feeling the burn BAD. I NEEDED to win. So I opened up 3 hands. The max bet at this card room was 100 bucks. I placed 100 on the main bet and 100 on the side on 3 hands. I went on the streak of a lifetime. This happened about 6 years ago. I actually went BACK to the casino the next day to try my luck again and they would not let me play black jack in the casino AT ALL. I said fine and decided to play some 3 card poker. I bet 100 on the main bet and 100 on the side. On my 5th or 6th hand I hit 3 of a kind. That pays 30 to 1. I made 3,000 on ONE bet. Ended up 20+ g in 2 days. It was the greatest time of my life. I had SOOO much fun with that $$. To this day all my furniture in my house was paid for by that.
Yeah compound bets make money with better odds but some casinos dont let you do them i think. Anyway my game is blackjack or Texas Hold'em. I bank on blackjack or fun 21 because i know all the odds and how to bet. I'm still working on card counting though. Most i ever made was like 140 at a casino on a cruise but when i figured in how much money i lost it was a net profit of about 65 dollars. Still felt pretty fuckin good
Never been to AC but im sure as shit going in 6 months when I turn 21 if i havent left for boot camp yet. However when me and my friends play Cee-low I ALWAYS win. I seriously have like 100 singles by the end of the night.
Put $25 in a dollar slot in Vegas and made about $350. Used to play the Pokies in Australia and put in $5 and made $75. But I don't gamble much.
won 125e on poker on October and thats just why i was really lucky with my cards hehe the next day i wasnt so lucky went back with 100e..not much but im not playing for big money anyways.won another just 50 e and then lost it all eventually.i did not tip that dealer .... then i asked my bf to give me some money and he literally lifted me in his arms and took me out the room .we went to a bar in the casino had a drink of which i just took 2 sips since i dont drink at all, he preached about addictions..in general..blah blah blah and i never been in the casino since then..yet im not a big player anyways im just playing poker since for a year or so i prefer playing billiard LOOOOOVEEEEEEE IT actually!!!!!!!!!!french way though ,the american game is kinda boing wish i had one in my house..
Damn it - I have it, and I tried to watch it, but couldn't get into it. I KNOW it's good. I've heard a lot about it. I just gotta watch it at the right time, I guess.
Good stories... I see I'm in the lead with my winnings. That HAD to have been just one of those things when I won all of that. I guess it's just not common... Oh well.
The first time I went to the casino was on my 19th birthday, and played poker which was a 60 dollar minimum buy in. I go to the table with my chips only to sit down beside guys that have TOWERS of chips because they've been sitting there all day. I'm just like..wow..how in the fuck am I even supposed to do anything? Sure enough, I lost all my money pretty quickly. I went back again like the next week, played poker again cause my buddy wanted to play. I ended up hitting EVERYTHING that night. Left with an extra 330 in my pocket. Felt pretty nice. Then I went back like a month later, played war with my friends. Got up like 160 bucks, then on the way out just decided to throw 40 on black on the roulette table. Nailed it. 200 dollar profit. Ever since that win, I have had the worst luck at gambling ever. Every time I've gone back to the casino, I would throw in a certain amount of money, and not win ONE dollar off anything. I just lost, and lost, and lost. I would always get first out when me and my buddies would play poker at one of our homes. I just couldn't catch a break. So I said fuck it, and never went back. Bullshit.
Hehe, I used to work at a diner as a server, and after work we would all hang out at someone's house and smoke bud and drink. A lot of the times, we even did roulette with cards - it was awesome. We had alot of singles, so it worked: We'd shuffle the deck and one person would be the dealer. The other person would bet like $2 on the next card's color. Like I would bet $3 the next card is black. If I was right, he (the dealer) would have to give me $3. If it was red, I'd have to give him $3. It was fuckin awesome! I'd make or lose $50 in like 5 minutes. Don't mind me.
