Ok so i took 2 cuttings off a seedling I've been grow for 2 months. Last thursday I put them in 12/12 and still no signs yet do females take longer to show then males? they been in flower for 8 days so just curious on what you guys think?
I've heard some strains can take 2 to 3 weeks, I've only got CFLs on them now but, it should'nt matter.
2 months of veg and no sex yet? You should be seeing preflowers at the 4 or 5th node and above. I have veg from seed for a month and it should signs.
Ya tonight, went and check and white hairs, no balls lol. Its a relief. Everyone i know says it needs to be in flower for a week or 2 to show, never heard of veg unless its auto flowering plant. How could yours show in a month of veg?
Yes, from my experience plants do show there sex whilst still in veg state. Obviously late into the veg state but they are there if you look closely enough.
12/12 is the light cycle, means 12 hours or dark 12 hours light, the dark is what makes the plant flower. with 24 hour light on it (like in the veg state) it will just grow and grow and grow and never bud.
