what's the life of a mother?

    How long can you keep a mother plant in veg? I'm search for the answer to this and was unable to find much information. If someone has a link to a good read I would appreciate it..

    I don't know from experience but I've heard of people having mother plants around for years.

    A long time if you keep them trimmed and not growing too tall, I guess.

    thanks for the fast response so if I kept her trimmed under cfls I'd be alright for awhile?

    Google 'Bonsai Mums' and you'll find the writeup by OldTimer1. Excellent tutorial.

    You can generally keep a mum around for a few years. Some have been kept for over 10.

    Anyway... It's good stuff. :)
