What's The Ideal Soil To Use When Using Liquid Fertilizer & Fabric Pot

  1. hello, I'll be starting my first indoor grow soon & I'm looking for some input on what soil would be ideal for my particular circumstances. I'll be using FoxFarm liquid fertilizer soil-formula (Big Bloom, Grow Big & Tiger Bloom) and growing in a 5-gal fabric pot (Smart Pot) in a grow tent. What would be the ideal type of soil or mixture of soils to use?

  2. There are so many different brands of soil that could work. Any peat-moss or coco coir mix with some perlite and worm castings/other organic compounds will most likely do the trick. Anything that has a ton of nutrients already in it can be dangerous to extremely young plants. I wouldn't water with any nutrients for the first few waterings at the very least when you do finally pick a soil.

    Hope that helps!
