OK Grass city I have a Question Probably rather simple to answer but Here my question what is the Difference Between the slim cool white fluro tubes (4 footers) and the fatter cool white tubes for the same size shop light t8 i believe at walmart where i seen them lumens, kelvin, what? do i just go for the one with higher lumen out put one i know was 4100k and the other might have been alittle more or less not to sure and it say daylight on the package
The smaller tubes are T-5 floros, the fatter (standard) are T-8. The T-5s are much more efficient and put off a much better quality of light. If there is a choice between the two, go for the T-5s. They will be quite a bit more expensive, but worth it. The T-8s are what is commonly used in shop lights, and don't put out much light.
