Whats the difference between Hash and Wax?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Derkkk, Feb 1, 2014.

  1. Hey guys, long time smoker, new to vaping (i guess?) let me explain...

I have a buddy of mine who only smokes, what he called, "wax". He boasted about how great it is and wanted me to try it. I've always wanted to try vaping so I went out and bought the Sticky Wax Burner, it was (somewhat) inexpensive and stealthy looking:

My buddy told me he'd hook me up but when he contacted his guy, he was all out of "wax". So I started looking to my hook ups. Someone told me they have a guy who sells them "hash"

Is there a difference between "hash" and "wax?"

Can I use Hash in the "sticky wax burner?"

    Thanks for the help guys.

    Derk.

Wax is made with bho and I believe it has a bit of a higher thc percent than hash.but hash is a more pure concentrate that doesn't involve bho and all that stuff. I don't think you can use that pen for the hash as it doesn't fully melt like wax but I have no experience with that pen so maybe someone who has can chip in.Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app

yeah like I said, those pens are usually made for full melts, which is what wax is. But you can still put some hash on top of a bowl and smoke it in case you where thinking you can only consume if vapedSent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
