Whats the difference between a bowl joint and neck joint????

  1. whats the difference in those two i know what the joint sizes are but i saw a bong that has a 14.5mm bowl joint and a 18mm neck joint and it confused the hell out of me. someone please explain
     
  2. Bowl joint is where the bowl sits in the downstem (the piece that connects the slide/bowl to the water in the bong). The neck joint is how big the downstem is, so it goes from a wide 18 mm hole on the bong, to a 14 mm hole in the downstem. It's a wide to standard conversion downstem. Same thing I have on my ADS
     
  3. its called a bushing downstem. its basically a joint inside a joint.
