  4. thats straight up fucking GRINDCORE my man! and GOOD grind, i fucking love Cripple Bastards. best thing italy gave us since giallos.

saw them at MDF too, fucking INTENSE.

  5. I'd have to go with Wormrot as the most brutal motherfuckers I have seen live, plus the venue I saw them in was like a big concrete cell, what's not to love?

I don't listen to these bands, but they are quite hardcore and dark i must say. And pretty fucked up

  7. the darkest, most brutal metal band ive ever seen was gaza.
the singer is one tall angry man.
    pretty nihilistic stuff.

  8. The title alone made me think of Dethklok. I even have a Death Knight on World of Warcraft named Murderface. :D

  9. Mayhem and burzum, they lived what most death metal bands only talk about; burning churches and killing each other.

probably the most intense set i've seen, managed to catch them before they got rid of this vocalist(bad decision imo he owns live).

The first Wormphlegm demo is probably the darkest metal release I've ever heard. As for most brutal that's a difficult call. Enmity, Last Days of Humanity's Putrefaction in Progress and some stuff by Internal Suffering (Chaotic Matrix and Awakening of the Rebel especially). Pretty brutal stuff, I'm sure many will be turned off by it.

And people really find Dethklok heavy? I don't really like Metalocalypse so haven't heard them a lot but the stuff that I did here was just standard Gothenburg, nothing really heavier than In Flames or Dark Tranquility. Their music might be fun and catchy, I don't know, but they're really not all that dark or brutal unless you only listen to mainstream metal.

  12. Bulldozer is pretty fast and heavy. Anything early by Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax. Wehrmacht is also fast n heavy.

  13. Whitechapel, or The Acacia Strain.
    Both heavy as fuck.

  14. I believe it was Mayhem.

  15. This is probably as heavy and brutal as it gets with me.. I like a little tech death.
