i just harvested 3 of the newer mandala strains 8 mile high, point of no return and beyond the brain all really easy plants to grow out, very healthy and resiliant replacing them in my garden will be a bunch of freebies i have gotten over the past few months from attitude seedbank when i place my order they usually throw in some freebies.. since there are going to be a lot of different strains i am going to use soil instead of hydro because it will be easier to control different plants needs. also the latest pack of seeds i just opened is some Cali Connection Jamaican cross and Bubba Kush Pre-98 Back cross to compete with a katsu cut seed i got in amsterdam. :O and as far as seedbank recommendations im just gonna say ive always had good experiences with attitude and as a first time seedbuyer its a good way to start. then there are all sorts of exotic ways to get your seeds like winning them at auction when something "elite" or "limited" comes onto the scene.
my personal 3 favorites ever are: 8 miles high - mandala, maybe not the most potent high, but it does NOTHING wrong and so much better than right. it's perfectly neutral and neither couchlocks nor is racy. energy isn't an issue. it's a TRUE "all around" buzz you can wake & bake straight to work or chill watching a movie & crash, but it DOES try to nudge you into having fun and if you dare turn some tunes on, it will take over your body & make it dance! LOL it took 25 fucking years, but it was the 1st REAL psychoactive high i had in 25 years and is a new sentimental fave. it's just happy fun that doesn't do anything wrong. it's refined & classy like a "beginner's haze". the outstanding quality that pushes it over the top of the next two possibly more potent sativas is it's super precise body control like your muscles have been replaced by gears or something. it won't drive anyone but the absolute most skittish already on the edge people into a panic attack either. it's anti-anxiety qualities shine. if i were to call any strain the "swiss army knife", it would be this. it doesn't put you to sleep like indicas do if you have trouble getting to sleep, but where's the fun in that and a slice of turkey & a warm glass of milk are all one needs to get KOed anyways. smoke 8 miles, and you'll get the munchies rush before the lactose & whatever in the turkey make you tired. it won't try to stop you from sleeping like C99 or old school kali mist would. haze skunk - high quality seeds, nice mildly trippy, motivational & euphoric buzz with decent potency not radically diffrent from much harder to grow pure haze. at higher doese, it gets a little rough around the edges and speeds your body movements up so you snap your head instead of turn it. i get a little dizzy from that, but the buzz lasts a long time on this to the point that you take 1 hit and forget to take a 2nd or 3rd. super cali haze - i didn't get a good test for this as mine was stunted to the size of a large stickey & grapey (haze/highland thai trait) daisy stunted plant that sampled so close to haze that i'd have to compare the 2 side by side. of the 3 this one has the haziest & grapiest buds i think (i vaguely recall 8 miles being slightly skunky) of the 3 and has plenty of sticky resin to boot. from other grows i've seen, it likes to stretch like it's haze mom, but should be doable indoors and yield nicely SCROGged. i'd really have to compare all 3 side by side with haze and at harvest to pin the differences down as they all might be more alike than they sound. i'm just remembering the notes that popped in my head experiencing each one by itself. all 3 are low odor too which is always a high (pun intended) priority with me having nosey neighbors constantly begging to be run over & backed over again a few times. LOL if you actually LIKE getting stoned (some people do and i'll NEVER understand why), you might like compact LSD by barney more than i did. it grows quick & small with a mild but sickeningly sweet male cat sprayed on grapes & flowers odor that mellows to a nicer hazey grape odor later on. it looks sexy as fuck when it goes into flowering with it's dark green leaves and crisp "fishboned" leaves. the buzz is really weird. it's lightly euphoric, psychoactive & functional getting you high, but at the very same time it instantly makes your eyelids heavy and after a couple hours creeps into a stone. as far as evil couchlocking effects go, mild & creeping suits me best. besides the breeders already mentioned some of which i've had good results with too like mandala & barney, i've had great results with these as well nirvana/sativa seeds high quality seeds joey weed soma & spice brothers (out of biz) most of my attitude UFOs have been fine too. one of them in fact is wicked potent and i bet is the one with AK-47 in it. the only bad seeds i've gotten have been gypsy FREEBIES and vancouver island seedbank burmese sold by kindseed. i've heard bad things about nirvana's fems and/or auto, but have had consistent results with a bunch of their regulars reeferman seedsman & ESPECIALLY KC brains... the undisputed king of no shows i have no PERSONAL experience with doctor atomic yet, but like DJ shorts & DNa genetics, he's a favorite breeder of the author of cannabible. read the trusted banks sticky for sure. you need to know that info for sure & beware of the at least one banks credited as "trusted" that just repacks $25 nirvana strains for $50 and implies their originals by not naming a breeder. that's not "trusted" to me, but i guess just delivering the goods is good enough for most people.

seeds are only as cheap as you're willing to go. there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with nirvana's REGULAR (AVOID their fems & lowryders though) $25 beans. how on earth can one call THAT expensive when just one female will give you several times $25 in worth and between cloning & breeding, can leave you set for life? you can even buy a $7 or $8 fem from attitude for cloning, get a free UFO along with 3-5 MORE freebies with their onthly promos! that's a shitload of genetics for something like $15 delivered! i totally agree that charging anything over $100 IS greedy. i could fucking buy a car off the proceeds of just half a dozen C99s if i were to be a greedy fuck so i don't have a lot of sympathy for breeders charging $250 or so for 10 beans that aren't even guaranteed. sorry, there's no fucking way that just 3 months of watering fucking dirt (selective breeding only takes the time to test your gear and, oh shit, that sounds like a terrible fucking inconvenience! and then basic 5 minutes a day care! that's just 6 gals that never reached their full potential too mind you!) to me, selective breeding is something i do for MYSELF for free, so i just can't wrap my head around someone "wasting" half a year or so selecting breeders and then fill a room full of 49 or so plants (although breeders operate outside the US & don't get US 50 plant felonies) get, say 50 THOUSAND beans and then sell those for $10 to even $25 or more each in a pack (i can see charging that for single top quality fems though, but once you've lost $100+ order in the mail and basically get an "it suck to be you", you don't want to roll the dice over $50 if you can avoid it. i like sticking with nirvana, HQS & mandala as they all deliver the goods at a fair price. only for those super rare strains the cost cutters don't carry that you absolutely must have like C99 are they worth more than $50. otherwise, you can get any kind of buzz you want for just $25 at nirvana (they charge $30 or more for their less popular/more work sativa seeds line now though which is also reasonable as it's such a low volume market for plants that are a pain in the ass to grow like their fussy ass thai) with mandala in particular, i get the vibe that he's totally into it FOR THE LOVE and not just the love of money as any legit breeder should be. i was TOTALLY feeling it with his 8 miles high if not so much his skunky hashberries and WOULD gladly pay $200 for that strain if it were the only sativa available as it kicks EVERY lame street bud's ass i ever blazed and even has a better high than $100 OLD SCHOOL (now with more indicrap!
