Just wondered if anybody else had had had a lowryder do this it's in and 8 inch deep pot and when it startred flowering about 9 days ago it started growing loads and is now 25" it was 13" when it started it is quite spindly looking will this affect how much bud i get off it or will it bush out more as it continues to flower cheers mat
I'd say that its a case of unstable genetics, the plant has taken on one of its predecessors gene's and grown taller than normal, I had this from some 1st generation seeds of Lowryder I grew, only one out of 4 seeds was a true lowryder and a 5th one was male so it didn't live long enough for me to see how much it could grow.
Thanks for the replys, i am using a 400w dual spectrum hps bulb and they were planted in miracle grow soil that is now mixed with b&q specialist compost but i have other plants that are flowering that are in just miracle grow and have yet to have any serious problems, or could miracle grow be the cause of me getting so many males with my durga mata?, oh and tomorite fertiliser about every two or three weeks but i was considering upping or changing to a different one considering everything is flowering any body know any good ones you can get at b&q or the best one to use as i'll get it off the inernet mat
Try not to use fertilisers that aren't made specifically for growing marijuana because they can cause problems, I cant see miracle grow making most of your plants male as I used miracle grow on my first indoor grow and only got 3 males out of 15 seeds
it was just a thought, i have been pleased with it as a soil. and i figured i would use the tomorite as it was good for tomatos and i read somewhere to grow it like a tomato plant, and i hadn't read much about what ferts to use but am going to google it in a bit and get some better ones,has anyone else gown durga mata, because i read on uk420 that after two weeks flowering it won't reveg and finally would an ounce be a good amount from a plant grown on a window ledge inside in the u.k be a good yield cheers mat
If your in the UK then there should be a growshop not too far from you, I personally use Ionic fertilisers but am finding that it takes a lot to flush them out at the end of flowering and they seem to give the buds a fruity sort of mango like taste, which is OK but when three strains taste pretty much the same its not good
