I'm am about 3 weeks into my first grow and everything is going pretty smooth except the new leaves on one of my two plants are folded together like this \/ . They are not completely closed but they do have a little bit of a purplish color along the tip and sides. My other plant had done this about a week ago and then quit. Any idea of whats causing it or is it just part of the natural process and i'm just being overcautious?
Do you mean the individual thin leaves? On my first grow, I had spider mites and they would spin their web stuff around the leaves, folding the little single leaves into V's as you describe....I hate those damn things....just look for tiny black spiders...and check for their eggs on the underside of the leaves. I doubt that's it, but it's worth a shot. Good luck
The only insects i have seen are these little black things that have clear wings but i only see them if i run my fingers through the soil, any idea what they are?
