What's Going On Here?

  1. This is my first grow and I just thought this plant would be... Bigger before it started to flower. Is this it? Or will it grow branches? It's just going into week 5 and I haven't trained it at all, it had a slight sulphur issue but it didn't even take over a whole leaf. I solved the issue super quick... Am I just impatient lool. It's an autoflower btw 00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST20190127102620837.jpg 00100dPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20190127102620837_COVER.jpg 00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST20190127013206732.jpg 00100dPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20190126095641829_COVER.jpg 00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST20190126093336215.jpg

  2. My auto flower hasn't even showed flowering or pistols. She is 50 days old and nothing.

How old is your plant and what light are you using? 20190126_171316.jpg

  3. The plant is 5weeks and a day. They're under a 900w Meizhi

  4. That sucks, she will be a short one without side branches, just on huge main cola. She should have been bigger at that age. Auto flowers tend to flower and grow how ever they want. Was she kept in 18/6 or 20/4 lighting?

  5. Smh it was kept under 18/6. Did I do something wrong? The other one is going into flower too, it's kinda short too so I guess my yeilds are going to be trash. Do they not grow anymore at all from here on (only bud production)?? Maybe it was because I switched on the bloom light, I was told it didn't matter because AF flower.
...automatically lol but I guess I was given bad advice

  6. I was told to keep autos on 20/4, always run both veg and bloom while growing. Maybe bad genetics. They will grow but just a weeeeee but more. Auto flowers are usually smaller.

  7. Relax it has plenty of growing left to do, you're not even half way through. The better grower you are the bigger it will be so as you're a beginner it may be a bit smaller than average but it looks fine to me.

18/6 is fine but you can give it more light hours if you want, I usually grow mine under 24/0

You're right to have the bloom light on. This doesn't control or trigger flowering or anything like that, it's simply more lights switching on and flowering plants need maximum light, but vegging plants need lots too so usually you're best to have them all on throughout. With the only exception being if you're using it to start seeds or root clones as some lights may be too much for those
