  1. The only thing I pump and dump goes in the toilet.

My portfolio doesn’t need any crypto in it at the moment :)

  2. That's fair. It's not for everyone and I'm sure financial advisors don't go for this kind of stuff.

  3. When I was finishing my Finance degree; this was a major topic for many students and professors.

I just don’t like bullshit. Call me a conservative investor, I just don’t see much from buying crypto. There are reasons for its existence, and some of those I don’t agree with.

There was definitely a good time to get in, just like with anything, I invest for longevity. I just don’t see crypto hanging on. Maybe I’m wrong, I won’t lose sleep over it.

  4. It's definitely a big gamble. I genuinely enjoy the thrill of the volatility and I'm not afraid to lose the money for a small chance of being part of the next big thing. It's definitely smart to not want to get involved.

  5. Meeting with my tax guy Tuesday to change some retirement into Gold. Am going to ask his opinion on putting $1000 into crypto to either watch or play with. Comfortable with precious metals, sorta iffy on crypto.

  6. I’ve watched Gold Rush for years. It’s insane the price per oz right now :)

  7. Definitely a better gamble than the casino.

  8. Oh Joey, Craps & Paigow are some of the best odds in the house.

idk if that’s a better time than buying the casino :) & drinks? Come on man, no ones giving you a cocktail after you drop money on doge & Bitcoin

  9. Nah, you buy a nice bottle of 20+ year old scotch and enjoy it.

Pappy Van Winkles next to some cheaper whiskey, and sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference. I have the 15 year in the bar currently.

I’m not a huge liquor guy so maybe I just can’t get behind spending good money on bottles. I’ve had some very expensive stuff in my day since my buddy owns a liquor store. Still go with the cheap stuff :)

    edit - I lied, it’s the 10 year bottle.

  11. When I used to drink I was an Evan Williams guy. Smoothest bourbon on the planet.

Costco has monster bottles for $20-40 range. It’s disgusting how much quality liquor you can get these days with just a little change. 77743F4E-2665-457A-B9AD-C88CD61194AC.jpeg

  13. Space exploration is making huge strides. Precious metals exist in many other locations than just Earth.

  14. Just because the economy is tanking doesn't mean one should invest in get-rich-quick schemes.

Obviously, it's more complicated than that. For one, 'crypto' is a blanket term for a variety of interconnected alternate currencies running on the same system. Basically, if you've decided to invest, however wise or unwise that may be, don't take Bitcoin-related advice and apply it to 'Elonmusk'ssploogecoin69.'

Alternate currencies have their place, but for the average Joe, that place should probably be to buy actual goods and services rather than making a profit for himself. For crypto to remain an actual currency, it needs to be treated as such. Otherwise it'll reach a level of worthlessness that could make the German Papiermark blush.

  15. Actually, I think I don’t want to invest in a particular cryptocurrency because I don’t see the point in that. It's much more interesting for me to find some new projects that make our world better. I recently found MyImpactPower, which is sort of an eco-friendly challenge service. In my opinion, this is very cool. I decided to invest in this project by purchasing its NFT card. It isn't a cryptocurrency, but it's also a very valuable thing.

  16. Put £€¥$10 into a really low fund and sit and wait. It's either a pack of cigarettes you lost or quids in.
I spent 10 on shiba inu when it first went live on the wallet I use and got 600/60million of them (can't be arsed to count all the zeros) I sold too many when the price went up, I should of kept them for much longer, have some left but it could of been nicer

  19. I can't express how regretful I am that I spent the 5 bitcoin I bought for like 200 bucks years ago just to try it out. I bought weed on the dark web for it.

It was good weed. But it would have been 250,000 dollars today.

  20. Maybe you can still get a refund?
