Whats being got in the Midwest

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by TheSourcerer, Jan 27, 2010.

  1. Hello everybody, I'm new here but I have been smoking for a little while now (about 10 years). I would just like to post what we have been getting here in the midwest (MI) with brief descriptions as well. I get about 2 different strains a week. Most of this is grown in CA, however, some of it is from other sources. I will try and update as I get different strains in every week! (Apologies in advance my camera sucks)

The First is referred to as The Goo (I know theres not much in names but these names were direct from the grower so I think they are accurate). This bud smells very very sweet and the taste is quite similar to how it smells. The nugs look as if they are coated in sugar. The high is very nice, body buzz, relaxing but good luck trying to get anything done.

The next is called Blue Cheese, I could only acquire a small amount as it is very expensive. I have smoked this only twice and both times I only needed one hit and I would find myself laying back on the couch with my eyes closed. Definite couch-lock on this one. The nug is lime green, orange hairs and COATED in THC. It smells somewhat sour and sweet with a hint of fruity.

This strain was extremely popular when I had it, it's called Bubblegum Purps. Very sleepy high, don't remember much... it was nice though. The nug has a mix between medium green leaves and purple leaves and upon closer inspection it looks as if it were dipped into someones keef(sp?) collection. VERY pretty bud :)

Next we have Bio Diesel. I got this in with the blue cheese, they were the same price and honestly smoke very similar. This bud has a sour smell but it is not overwhelming (by overwhelming I mean so sour it smells like b.o.) like other sour diesel strains. Another one hit quit, smoked this twice as well.. good luck getting anything done on this one.

The last strain is from a separate source, I don't know its name but it's very pretty. It is also the least expensive of what I usually get ($55/8th - I know we don't get it quite as cheap here sometimes..). The smell is not very impressive but it has a very earthy taste that I like as well as it smokes good and is very sugary.

That's all for now, sorry the quality isn't great but I'll try and get better shots as I get more stuff in!

  2. nice buds & report dude! :smoke:

    welcome to GC!

  3. Im seein the same shit in Indiana. Good smoke imo, but that goo, holy shit I got some of that last summer, straight knocked me off my feet.

  4. Thank you AW.
Yeah considering I'm only a few hours north of IN it would make sense that we generally have the same stuff coming in. Vacuum sealed bags from CA?

  5. For the most part. I'm from fort wayne, 2nd biggest city in Indiana. We don't have more than 10% of swagg in the city and if we do the rednecks have that. super high mids/beasters have been floating around for 85-100 a zone, if you mess with the blacks, tax 20 more bucks on what weight you want usually. I've picked up some straight homegrown dankers, probably 3rd best smoke i've smoked for 200 a zone. For a few months I was smoking all I wanted, dank, for free.

  6. We get the Affgooey around here sometimes... Good shit.

But your Blue Cheese and Bio Diesel are what I like to see. White as Hell hahaha

Nice report, you took a bit of time on it.

  7. Im up in Sun Prairie, WI right out side madison and we get some really good fire mids up here. Its like dro just with seeds. I heady a steady suplly of that for $$25 a quarter but my dood moved outa down. As for the dank weve had Green Crack GDP and recently Super Silver Haze.

  8. Ive been smokin on this exact stuff the past few days in NorthEast Ohio. By the looks of it I almost want to say its the same batch haha. My dude said he had 'goo' and I was like 'you mean afgan goo?' haha.

  9. Also the way you described the high is SPOT-ON! haha

  10. Don't mean to keep posting, but to TheSourcerer, was your bud all crispy but real fresh/not-cured tasting?

  11. Yeah that would make sense I'm about 2 hours north of Fort Wayne, I went to college close to there for a semester at Huntington, I think that's about a half hour from where you are.

However I think my connect might be a little more expensive than what you get it for.. (generally 60/8th with no price breaks unless your looking for qp's).

The blue cheese and bio diesel go for 65-70 an 8th... I'm okay with this for now though because you don't have to smoke very much to get incredibly stoned.

  12. Thanks, yeah you know it's trouble when the nugs are lime green/white haha.

  13. I spent a summer in Milwaukee a few years back and knew this girl that went to school in Madison. She had some of the most dank green I'd seen at the time. I have yet to see Green Crack and I've never even heard of Super Silver Haze. You should post up some pictures that shit sounds NUTS.

  14. Now worries man, and YES the bud was real crispy but also very fresh - literally NO SHAKE. After I had an o gone out of one of my tupperware boxes the bottom was covered in orange sticky kief (practically a bowls worth). Definitely one of my favorite buds.

  15. Reppin the Midwest...... I likey!:D

  16. yes, funky tree man. good post!

  17. Dude that's awesome. It's so cool to think that i found someone on the internet with the same bud as me from the same batch.
