I'm a very new to the world of smoking, but I knew that I didn't feel comfortable using anything but a vaporizer, so I immediately invested one. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about the Easy Vape units, but I went ahead and made a risky purchase of a new Easy Vape Digital V5 with a bunch of accessories from ebay for ~$50. I know that a lot of experienced users hate this unit, but I was wondering why. Despite complaints about previous editions, the temperature readings on this newer model actually seem accurate. It heats up in a reasonable amount of time, and from the results it seems as if the temperature displayed in roughly correct. With each new bowl, the vaporizer produces several large visible hits (and then several not-so visible ones) with a fairly small amount inside. They all have a nice vapor taste and I haven't detected any burning, even at 380F. Overall the unit is extremely easy to use. I've went as far as to hook the vaporizer up to a bong and it produced the smoothest, coolest hit I've ever had. My only real complaint about the unit is the fact that screens for the bowl are really difficult to fit in and adjust correctly. Also the glass pieces of the unit are not easy to get clean. My point isn't to endorse this--I'm just wondering what I'm missing by not investing in a higher quality, more expensive vaporizer. I've tried my friend's expensive Plenty vape, and while it could produce a much larger hit at once, that's the only significant difference I could notice. The smoothness and fresh taste of the hits and the conservation of product are both very noticeable with the Easy Vape unit, which are the main selling points of vaporizers. What am I missing out on?
