  2. Gone the way of the dodo bird, man

    It's weird because I was just thinking about this today.

    I was watching old school Bugs Bunny and there's a scene where a baby is using a revolver as a pacifier. Shit's fucked up.

  3. that is perty messed up lol but i miss em still an btw bugs bunny rules!:smoke: just one stoner to another

  4. * Bugs Bunny and there's a scene where a baby is using a revolver* i just googled that there are 35 thousand results lol wierd...

  5. Yep, children are shielded from everything these days, that way when they get to highschool and the real world, they are prepared for nothing. You don't want your kid to know about violence until he's faced with it in real life do you!?

  6. 90s cartoons were the best of all time.

  7. mmm 90's cartoons... The Tick, Aeon Flux (fuck you 2005 Aeon flux movie), The head, Ren and Stimpy, Technoman...

  8. @buddah that is completly true man its so stupid i for one am glad that i wasnt shielded from stuff like that

    @young green hell yea

  10. 80-90's cartoons were the best, they had good plots and good scenes that actually were very creative and actually made you think alittle, but now it has to be of the most simplist stupidist plots with no scent of violence because we have to protect the kids!! oh god the kids!..

    Memories of the old transformers and Dbz are coming back, fuck yeah..

  11. The only Cartoon i've seen that would be even slightly scary to children these days was invader Zim, specifcly one episode (season 1, ep 2, bestest friend) when he removes the eyes of his new friend, and replaces them with robot eyes that makes squirrels look like him.
    The scene where the kids eyes are removed is implied with a "cast shadow" on a wall, but it could still freak kids out...
    Apart from that one scene tho the series is all typical "cartoon violence"

    Theres plenty of Cartoons out there that are specifcly violent tho, like Happy tree friends, but they're not really aimed for kids...

  12. Cartoons nowadays are just dreadful. Back in my day (I feel so old for saying that) cartoons were the shit. In today's PC world where everyone's a winner and everyone is special and no one is better than anyone at anything they can't really make shit worth watching.

  13. Yup, just not the same...

    I watched Rocko all the time as a kid and most definitely saw those scenes but just flew over my head. It's crazy how those scenes were aired on Nickelodeon.(although the first was never aired again after its premier)
