What would you do with 100 a week.

  1. a quarter a week and $30 of food if I'm smoking at the time if I don't smoke I would maybe get a tattoo.

  2. File it as income and throw that bitch in a Roth ira. Since you're prob only 15 that shit'll be worth like a million dollars once you retire lol

  3. $100 a week? In my shoes, I'd have my house foreclosed.

You're wise if you're going to put money in a savings account though. Hell, don't limit it to half, if you don't have any expenses, save all that you can for when you do. As for leftovers, I'm going to assume you're a fan of toking, so...weed? Or whatever the hell you want. Never understood these sort of questions, if you have stuff you need or want to buy, buy that, if not, don't? [IMG]  Extra cash won't burn a hole in your pocket.

If you get a decent amount saved up, you could try making some investments with it. CDs, mutual funds (try to find one with a low annual fee), even precious metals. You said you don't have a vehicle, right? If you're not living inside a large city, I'd guess that you'll want or need one eventually, so get to saving for a used car.

  4. Id just go with the flow with friends and spend as little as possible. then save the rest for something I really want or just to have some extra financial cushion

  5. It wouldn't be enough for me to pay my rent, let alone have weekend fun.

If it was $100 pocket money per week then I would honestly put most if not all of it intoa savings account. And maybe treat my self to dinner from time to time. I like to save $

  6. Spend most of it on food for the kids.

  7. Does really nobody know the answer?
You save $100 of the dollars per week and put it into a sock fund. At the end of the summer (depending on your meaning of summer, I'll estimate.... 10 weeks?) you take the money out of the sock fund and rent a room at a resort, get a few kegs and a shitload of drugs, and throw a fat ass party. Save enough for cleaning afterwards if you're lazy.

"She was living in a single room with three other individuals. One of them was a male and the other two, well the other two were female. God only knows what they were up to in there. And furthermore, Susan, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that all four of them habitually smoked marihuana cigarettes..... REEFERS"

  8. I'd buy a new fleshlight every week

I bought this VR headset for my iPhone and have been watching virtual reality porn on that

  9. In going to defend the Oo

He never said what if your budget was 100 dollars a week

He asked what you would do if you had 100 dollars.
(I'm sure most of us do)
So I'm assuming he meant an extra hundred

  11. I wouldn't spend any of it, each week that hundred would go into my couch cushion.

  12. Save as much of that money as you can and when you have enough to open up an e-trade Roth IRA, be like Nike and just do it. Putting your money in the bank guarantees that it will lose value almost as quickly as if you put it under your mattress. You are probably quite young. 100 bucks that you stuff under your mattress will still just be 100 bucks 20 or 30 years from now. But 100 bucks won't buy 1/3 of what it does now in 30 years. Invest in a mutual fund or ETF and watch it grow. At 59-1/2 you can start withdrawing from the IRA and it will be 100% tax free when you do because it was funded with "after tax" income.

This is the best advice you probably won't listen to. Retirement is a hard thing for young people to think about and plan for.

  14. I get what you are saying, helping your sister sounds like a nice gesture.  If that is all you are going to do this summer then don't expect to get too far ahead, that being said save up for a cheap car perhaps or at least a scooter or something to make yourself more mobile.
