Ok this is a hypothetical question here. Say if I wanted to grow a huge amount of the mary jane for my use. What would I use to get a better yeild? a 3000w LED system or a 3000 watt HID/MH system.
well of course HID system (HPS/MH) . and is there a reason why u wanna use a 3000W system r u trying too grow a pound for every month of the year or what ? just saying unless where u r growing its completely safe no feds dea etc then u need to think about the power bill and getting caught with a big felon charge. as the power company will report u for such use. just saying .... I use a 400W HID and i get a nice half a key every grow and i personally smoke a LOT , still cant finish it all by the time my next harvest comes around even if i try
netted myself 1/2 lb after 3 1/2 month grow off 2 plants under a 400w. 3000w is a little overkill. fuck it, it's serious overkill. there is no way you smoke that much and the money you would spend on electricity would be insane. to answer the question though mh/hps oh, and since it was hypothetical and probably just an excuse to start a thread, what would the wattage have to do with it. coulda just asked "what is better, led or hid?"
