    That link is from June. Shit changes. I read about how they aren't closing the coffee shops in Amsterdam because the real problem is the German people jumping into border towns to get high and then they fuck around. Amsterdam doesn't have as much of a problem.

    They're not closing them. Just banning non-Dutch residents from buying weed and making them buy a 'membership card' (think some of the neighbouring countries are exempt, though).
