What variable about your plants do you wish you could measure but can't?

  1. Either because it's currently too expensive or impractical with existing technology. Basically, I want to developing some new tech for cheap and want to know what other growers are most interested in.

  2. I wish there was a way to measure the daily growth of your plant

  3. If you mean height, just put a bamboo post next to the plant..put a mark on the post and measure the difference daily..

    NOW..Maybe invent a cheap test for THC% and CBD%..:)

  4. Measure root uptake somehow to more accurately provide plants with proper nutrient concentration and ratios at proper times. Would be pretty good for people new to growing to know when and what the plant wants. It would help prevent over fertilizing and under fertilizing. It sounds like future science to me though. I think we're about 50-75 years from such a breakthrough in growing. As a metaphor, we would be like talking to the roots directly rather than getting information about the roots from its reaction to what we feed it.

  5. Direct root uptake would be a hard one....first step is to create something that measures the nutrients in your growing medium. Like a detailed list of each nutrient and its lvl

  6. Cool. The future is probably much closer than it seems (though I am an optimist).

  7. A great one would be invent something that tells you when your plant is ready to harvest...instead of looking at it with the eye and guessing have a machine that tells you thats its ready to harvest. With different lvls depending on what high you want to produce

  9. Experience does it. After awhile you just know when they won't get any better.
