What Vaporizor for me?

  1. yes...another vaporizor thread.

I have recently been getting a little paranoid about smoking in my apartment, its an old building, i dont know if that matters but the way i take it is, if i can hear the people above me talking sometimes then they can smell me.

I was thinking of going vaporizor...having never used one i am skeptical about it being to my liking and whatnot, i have been smoking out of any other piece imaginable for the past 2 years (not in this same apartment, only been smoking for 5 months in my new apartment and havent had any complaints yet).

I have money, but i rather not spend over 200$. I also want it to be relatively small, mainly i want to be able to hide it or conceal it like one of my pieces when not smoking.

I was thinking about an i-olite...any opinions?

I was also thinking about a da buddha...opinions?

Thanks in advance, and yes i know there are threads just like this. I am gonna go smoke a j outside. :smoking:

  2. If the majority of your vaping is gonna be done outside when you're out and about, the Iolite would be a good choice. The LaunchBox would be a better choice though and it costs 150 bucks less than the Iolite.

If you're looking for super rich bong like rips from a vape that you are primarily going to be using at home and willing to give up some efficiency to get it, the Buddha would be an excellent choice.

  3. i actually only smoke joints outside so i dont smell up my apartment during the day (when possibly maintenance worker can smell it)

but being able to vape on the go would be nice, i may have to look into the LaunchBox...why is it the better choice besides the money factor?

  4. Im really considering a Da Buddha at the moment. Would also like to know what people think of them... I've been reading around on fuckcombustion.com but still not sure.

  5. More efficient.
More reliable. The Iolite is a very complicated device as compared to the LaunchBox.
Better warranty. Full lifetime replacement warranty.
More stealthy. Can be totally hidden in the palm of your hand.
Tastes better. Thicker hits due to the ability to vape at a higher temp than the Iolite.
    Easier to clean and maintain.
Does not use butane like the Iolite.
The Iolite doesn't work well at high altitude.

  6. Da buddha is fantastic. It took about five minutes to learn and has worked great since. One of the most durable ones out there and delivers anything you want, great taste, super efficient, fun high. Makes mids worth buying again. Only problem is just about all your friends will pull out the whip or breathe into it, sending the bud into the heat source. (Which will burn it and make it smell like smoking) but if its just you you won't have to worry.

Also, anyone planning on buying from their site, please pm me.

  7. hmm, the LaunchBox seems like a good product. and a good price.

whats the high like compared to smoking out of a bubbler like i normally do?

thanks for the fast replies...keep them coming

  8. I would like to find this out also, I was looking and im thinking about the lunchbox or the vapour bro just because i dont need stealth

  9. I had the same exact mindset.

loved it, and got the silver surfer (da budha but better) for 200$, and everyone loves it

    i think ull love it?

    sry im so high:smoking:

  10. Ive heard from a few ppl that the silver surfer is rlly good aswell

  11. In your opinion, how is it better?

  12. Oh yeah don't get me wrong i absolutely love it, but i only got it for the price since it was same as most da budha.

takes a while to get used to cuz mine has no temperature markings to tell what temp its at, but u get used to it.:D

  13. if your smoking blunts then maybe they can smell you but just use a bong and there will be hardly any trace

  14. Smell aside you should buy a vaporizer just for the fact that it's a great way to enjoy your herb. Especially if you want to switch it up from smoking bowls or blunts.

Since you want one for your apartment I suggest the silver surfer. You will not be dissapointed. It comes with a carrying bag so you can stash it away whenever you need to. I have never used da buddha but everyone who has seems to enjoy it. You can't go wrong with either but I would pay a little extra and get the SSV.

  15. If you just want to try one out there is a seller on ebay that sells vapolite mini digitals.

i was a sceptic at first also so i said Fuck it and got one 70 shipped with a sharpstone 2.2inch 4 piece grinder.

I pull it out of the box and its very small very light and very wellmade looking so i plug it in and set it to 400 seeing as it has a digital screen i know its not going to be super acurate so i turned it a little higher then i would anything else at first.

It has a built in fan in the back so when the case gets a little hot or you want to cool the heating element you just push a button on the front and the screen says on and you can hear it the case stays nice and cool.

its actualy hits very well for the money id say good thick hits and easy to use and clean.

so i would say you try one befor you go deep into it.

the sellers name is Halfbakedgoods its the mini digital or nano digital.

its cheap but i have yet to find a prob with it.

  16. get a da buddha, ive had one for around 6 months and its the best investment ive made as far as marijuana goes. if you want to use it on the go just get an ac/dc power converter

  17. so what does the vapor smell like through a buddha or launchbox?

  18. where is the best place to buy either of them through the internet?

  19. well i am leaning towards the Launch box mainly because its my first vape and will be the first time i have vaped so if i end up not liking it i wouldnt have spend too much money or if i like it alot then maybe i will upgrade to a da buddha for an in home unit when i get more money

  20. You're supposed to grind the weed finely then put about 1/4 inch of it into the wand and pack it in lightly using the round end of the poker needle that it comes with. If you do this the weed will stay put and not come loose.
