Ok so the current tv i have is a toshiba, oldschool nonflatscreen. Its got decent picture quality and all but I want something more HD for gaming and all around better pleasure . But for real what is some good brands taht arent ridiculously priced. Im not looking for top of the line 100% perfect LED picture quality, just something that is nice and reasonably priced. Im thinking of spending 3-400 dollars on it. Any problems with this tv/brand because i had my eye on this one. Walmart.com: Westinghouse 32" Class LCD 1080p 60Hz HDTV, VR-3225: TV & Video
Never had a Westinghouse so I don't know. The price is right though. My Vizio was great for the price, so if you see one of those it's another one to consider.
Yup, just went to walmart and picked up a 32" Vizeo LCD 720p Great choice in my opinion and it was only 300$.
The Vizeo's are nice, my former roommate had one and really liked it. I prefer Samsung, but at the end of the day, they all do the same thing.
Yea I would have considered the Samsung but it really seems more like paying for the brand name. The ones i saw were almost double the price.
Haha true dat, they are expensive! Hey btw, r u from WI? I just watched the Badgers rape my Huskers (if you're not from wiscon. disregard, haha).
Sometimes it's more than the brand name, there are features that a lot of the more expensive TV's have that can be important but also aren't always noticed. For example, the cheaper TV's have no anti-reflective coating on the screen. Only becomes an issue when a light or window is at just the wrong angle.
32" was plenty for me. My bed isnt too far from the tv, about 3 feet. And the tv is setup away from the window so no glare issues here. Plus i mainly got the TV so that 360 games would be easier to see and read things on... oldschool tvs jsut dont cut it when it comes to newschool games.
