What to do!

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by chiodos367, Oct 14, 2012.

1. Well guys, for the past 3 years, yes THREE years, I have been working in a certain job in which I cant smoke -.-. I wont specify, but I wear boots, carry an m16 and get yelled at alot -.-

Anyway, I get out in 4 more months, and im NERVOUS about the jane. I used to smoke daily. I have quite a few problems that I use for. but what should I do?

Should i buy a small amount, or just go b@lls to the wall and buy a LB?

should i start stocking up pieces now, or buy them when i get home etc. o_O

The opportunities are endless.
Also, my wife is worried about it. How can I change her mind? I dont care if she smokes or not, but I would rather stop taking 8 pills a day, and switch to a green solution.

Either way, happy tokin, and i will be joining ya soon :hello:

2. I would say not to spend 3k on bud as soon as you get out. Maybe a ounce to start off

3. Yeah man i'm an everyday smoker and I only buy halfs or quarters, i'd think if you bought an LB for personal use you'd run the risk of it drying out over time. Think about how low your tolerance will be now and how little you will have to smoke to get stoned!!
either way, happy toking!!

Buy a small amount. Your tolerance is ZERO! You will find that just a tiny bit will be enough to get you quite high! :smoking:

Don't go hog-wild on the glass, at least not at first. There are lots of fantastic-looking pieces out there! See what your friends have and use them if possible. No use spending a lot on something that might end up gathering dust in the closet!

I presume that you have PTSD or other problems that are related to your job. You may find my List to be useful. I collect medical studies- lots of them and they're all on cannabinoids and how they heal! Perhaps showing your wife medical studies proving that cannabis can help your condition will lessen her objections.

This one is is right off PubMed-

To get a copy of my most recent List, just send me an email- my address is at the bottom of my sig. I will send you back the 2012 List which is a full 840 pages of links to an amazing range of ailments!

And hon, take your Omega 3! The way cannabis works is by activating CB 1 receptors in your brain and body. Those receptors can't be made properly unless you have Omega 3 in your system. This will affect your ability to get high, and also, the way your brain functions. (You can skip anything in italics)

The corollaries of the obesity epidemic that plagues developed societies are malnutrition and resulting biochemical imbalances. Low levels of essential n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFAs) have been linked to neuropsychiatric diseases, but the underlying synaptic alterations are mostly unknown. We found that lifelong n-3 PUFAs dietary insufficiency specifically ablates long-term synaptic depression mediated by endocannabinoids in the prelimbic prefrontal cortex and accumbens. In n-3-deficient mice, presynaptic cannabinoid CB(1) receptors (CB(1)Rs) normally responding to endocannabinoids were uncoupled from their effector G(i/o) proteins. Finally, the dietary-induced reduction of CB(1)R functions in mood-controlling structures was associated with impaired emotional behavior. These findings identify a plausible synaptic substrate for the behavioral alterations caused by the n-3 PUFAs deficiency that is often observed in western diets.

Granny’s translation – “The US diet sucks big time and we are fat, undernourished, and crazy because of it. We get WAY too much Omega 6 and not enough Omega 3. Not getting enough Omega 3 can make you crazy because without it, the CB1 cannabinoid receptors in your brain aren’t made right- a chunk that is supposed to be attached, isn’t! Broken receptors give you “impaired emotional behavior”. So we think it’s the low Omega 3 diet that’s making the US totally nuts!”

Now, those guys were just looking at the mental effects, but the physical effects are just as bad. (Just believe me on that, or this really gets long!) Just eat healthy and take fish oil or flax seed oil.

Don't worry too much, hon, it will all work out!

5. Thank you very much for the advice Storm Crow. That will help me to show my wife. and thanks to all the other advice guys! I figured weight large sump of money i have saved up. (Dont worry i wont lowing my savings, im buying a house, already bought a car etc.) but I guess your right, I could keep my money saved and just buy an O. Im used to burning through a half a week by myself! LOL

Im mostly going to use it to cure my slipped disks in my back, my 2 reconstructive knee surgeries, severe anxiety and all the other fun stuff associated with it.

6. You should totally get a vaporizer, especially of you know you're going to smoke that much.

7. See I have heard alot of good things about vaporizers, but I have tried it once, about 7 years ago, and did not like it at all.. maybe it was cause my friend was stingey? Maybe i didnt smoke enough? or maybe I just enjoy smoke? Im not sure, but I could always try it again. When I was younger before the service I was more of a "Buy a big bag and smoke up all my friends"

Well Im a bit more aged, a little more experienced and im married now. I will mostly be smoking by myself, and possibly matching friends every now and then ya know?

Now that I have learned the true value of money lol

8. Get a small amount and smoke like half a bowl and chill n see how u feel. You don't want to go balls to the wall your first time cuz 1. Little amount will get you blazed 2. You smoke too much n get too high you might not like it and have a bad experience. Ooorah

9. get a vaporizer where you can adjust the temperature either on a dial, or a more preferred digital screen. The high is different in one for the most part because you are not heating up the material enough to release the chemicals that give you that body high or stoned feeling. When you are able to control the temperature, not only can you adjust it to your personal preference, but you can save what remains and either smoke them later (nasty), revape at a higher temperature, or make some edibles.

10. Fuck yeah if my boss yelled at me all day i would either use the m16 on him or buy a pound of weed.

11. Like I said bud, I used to smoke ALOT all day everyday! lol so I know what its like to be couch locked with a panic attack haha. but I will

Thanks guys :)

12. I think a LB would be way too much for someone who hasn't smoked in 3 years....start small, also thank you for your service
