I have a pretty healthy looking plant in a hydro setup. There is a lot of nice new growth and most the plant is very green. Roots look nice too. I have just two big leaves that are looking dried out and starting to yellow. My question is would it be more stressful for the plant if I cut the sick leaves off or leave them on. I clipped a couple leaves earlier and it seemed the plant was fine, but if I would be better off to leave the plant alone I would rather do that.
When plant leaves are yellowing typically it means the plant is taking the nutrients from them to encourage other newer growth, i personally would allow the plant to take care of them its self so it gets maximum advantage from every thing the leaf has to offer...
Thanks, that makes alot of sense. It has been the oldest leaves that haven't been looking great so I wasn't too worried but your explination really helped me out.
