The male's are far from useless. I had 4 out of 4 that turned out to be males and I would have run out of smoke before I could get more planted and grown so I let 2 of my males mature two or three more week and then I hung and dried them. It turned out to be some pretty good smoke. If you have quality seeds you will have good weed, male or female. There are studies out there that prove that males often have more thc than their female counterparts. I will still get rid of the males if I have a couple of good females growing and I have plenty to smoke and I don't need the seeds but in some circumstances it is well worth saving the male plants.
