What to bring to my medi-cann visit

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by trogdor4564, Aug 8, 2008.

  1. Ok im going to be making my appointment to go to medi-cann here very soon and am kinda wondering about what hey say to bring. they say this on there website. "Written Documentation including diagnosis, the name, address, phone number and fax number of your primary health provider."

I can acces my medical record from kaiser online and print it out. is that enough info. It has my doc name and number and what not and says my prescriptions and for what and all that. Can i bring that as my "written documentation"

  2. Yeah, if it's straight from the Kaiser website, that should be good. Just print all of that out, bring your California ID/Driver's License, and the amount of money they said it'll cost. That's all you need to bring in.

Good luck! It was such a big relief once I got my doctor's recommendation. That first legal smoke is awesome.

  3. Thanks a lot man.
I should be legal here very soon! :hello:

  4. man I remember my first legal smoke..
me and my friend worked out getting ours at the same time..
so we went to our meeting and got out shit.. the next week the doctor office called back to pick up our recommendations.
we picked em up, drove immediatly to the cannabis club and we both got 3 different types of weed each... then we proceeded to pack a bong snap of 6 different types of weed!!... I was soooo loaded!

good luck on getting your shit..

  5. what if i cant get ahold of my medical records i have been off of insurance for a couple years and i cant remember what the name of my doctor was

  6. I'm so excited. btw, congrats man!

  7. You can go to medicannusa.com and get a list of free clinics. I called medicann to ask them a similar question and they just told me to go to one of the free clinics, tell the doctor your problem and have them diagnose you and a simple note saying you were there and told them about your problem will suffice. They also said that I could make an appointment and if by the time it rolls around I don't have my documentation then I can still go to the appointment and get a card that will last for 3 months and within those 3 months you need to bring in documentation and they will increase it to a year.

  8. thanks man thats a big help

  9. Or you can just call the hospital and ask for your records. You don't need to know your doctor's name if you can verify yourself.
