What time of day?

  1. i have a superbud seedling by greenhouse and im ready to begin l.s.t for the first ever time.............one thing i cant find anywhere is,if there is a time of the plants day at which it is preferable to begin l.s.t.............

would it be better to do it just before dark so it could recover in the dark or, would it be better as the light comes on in a morning to do it, so it has all days light to use to recover??

it probably is covered somewhere else but i cant find it:eek:

    thanks

  2. plant recovers faster during the light on times (by recover i mean it turns back up towards the light) so do it when the light turns on.

  3. It really shouldn't matter. True that the plant starts to turn back up when it is receiving light, but "recovery" and "turning up to the light" are not the same thing. LST truly is low stress, there isn't really any "recovery" needed. And let's say you're on 18/6 and tied them down just before lights-out, then at most they are freshly tied through 6 hours of dark, no worries.
